Seva Group has started a new direct relationship with Diageo to supply the leading drinks company’s duty free portfolio in the Balkans and work together on new opportunities.
Seva Group Business Development Manager Travel Retail and Duty Free Laura Klingeman told The Moodie Report that the new relationship represents an important development for the company’s business in duty free.
“The Balkans can be a very difficult market but there are a lot of opportunities,” she said. “Seva Group started in the Balkans and has deep knowledge of the market as well as an established business there.
Seva Group sees strong potential for Diageo’s brands across the region. Klingeman highlighted that opportunities were not confined to airport or border stores: she mentioned military operations across the region and the burgeoning yacht and cruise market in Croatia as potential targets.
Netherlands-based Seva Group distributes several spirits, wines and beers brands to the duty free market, and domestically across Serbia, Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Montenegro and Croatia.
